Good Morning Red Team! Looks like cold and rain will be with us this week. A good time to get caught up on your studies. Make sure you stay up with assignments, and don't forget about Health. Project due in a couple weeks. Also if you are in Tech, keep working on your OSHA so that you don't get timed out.
Biology starts the week off with a vocabulary quiz on the first 8 words for Evolution. You should have done flashcards to help you study, and completed the homework worksheet classifying organisms. Activity today showing how natural selections happens. Notes continue, then the vocab quiz, then M&M activity.
English--A Separate Peace continues as we learn more about the relationship between Phineas and Gene. Chapter 4 in class, then read Chapter 5 for homework (Don't forget to answer the questions). Vocabulary quiz--Chapters 1 and 2 on Wednesday, and Literary Terms Quiz on Friday. In between the research project continues for your year gathering information and research sources. Let Easy-bib do the hard work of citing your sources.
History continues with the Industrial Revolution and continues with WWI. Chapters 19(4) and 21 (4) should have been turned in by now. New assignments will be given this week. 21(3) Changing Attitudes and values (674-680); 22(1) Building a German Nation (692-695); and 22(2) Germany Strengthens (696-699).
Algebra: Finishing up radicals and moving into the Pythagorean Theorem. It is called "Pythagoras' Theorem" and can be written in one short equation: a2 + b2 = c2. Note: c is the longest side of the triangle; a and b are the other two sides.
