Another week has begun, and MCAS ELA for sophomores is finally complete. Imagine, a snow day, three days of testing, then Good Friday. A three day week, amazing! That was last week, and although I could get used to that, then we would have to go to school year round. Nope, like the vacations, and summers off, thank you!
Anyway, last week of the term! Most of you have been checking Aspen and making up any missing assignments so hopefully you are in good shape. Study hard for quizzes/tests and do your homework.
ELA: Continuing to read To Kill A Mockingbird and answering comprehension questions. Literary terms vocabulary test on Tuesday. Make your flashcards and study!
BIOLOGY: Vocabulary quiz Tuesday, then it is time to make babies! Yup, dragon babies--it is in your genes. Test using Punnett Squares and showing what you know about Genetics will be next Monday!
REMEMBER, if you didn't do well on the Mitosis/Meiosis test that you got back today, you have until next Tuesday to stay after and make corrections, study and retake the test! Must be done by TUESDAY!
WORLD HISTORY: Finishing up with the Philosophes and the Enlightenment and it is on to the French Revolution. You should have all you chapter work completed--Chapter 18(3) is overdue but can still be turned in this week. Chapter 18 (4) has been assigned for next week, the beginning of Term 4.
ALGEBRA: Problem Solve this week. Show what you know. Tell us how you think. You can do this!
The end of term 3 is this Friday, March 32, 2016! Make sure that you are ready to start term 4 next Monday.
That's right! April Fool's--there is no March 32, 2016. It is really April 1st. Have a great week Red Team!
