October 26 to October 30, 2015

At the end of this week, it will be time to have some fun on Halloween. Also the clocks get turned back on Sunday.  That means you get an extra hour of sleep.  In the meantime we have work to do.

This week the history homework is to make up missing assignments from Chapter 29 and Chapter 30 since we will have a test on World War II. Study guide has been given out in class, and the major part of it will be completed and reviewed in class this week.

English: Finishing up paragraphs for character from Animal Farm integrating quotes and analysis.  Rough drafts due Tuesday so final draft can be typed. Starting Of Mice and Men, the tale of two migrant workers in the Salinas Valley of California during the 1930s. English and history will be coordinating information about the Great Depression and the life of the migrant worker. No new vocabulary this week.  Just keep reading and completing your 3 sticky notes per week.

Algebra I:  Starting chapter 6.  Packet distributed today is due on Friday worth 50 points. Homework due Wednesday is the first 6 homework problems.  Check Connected for assignments on Tuesday nights for weekly assignments.

Biology: Cell Respiration and Photosynthesis.  Vocabulary Word Wall and flashcards are due Tuesday.  The quiz for the 10 words is on Thursday.  Study a little every night.

Homework Club is on Tuesday and Thursday in room 67.  Make it a point to stay and get your work done. The end of the term is a week from Friday--November 6.  There are late buses to get you home so choose to get caught up now.

Have a productive week, stay for extra help, check Aspen, and make the end of the term a good one.
