This is the last real week for term 2; mid-term exams start on Friday, January 17th and continue until January 23rd. Make sure that you complete all your study guides and do the "cheat" cards that you are allowed to use during your exams. The history study guide is worth 4 homework grades. There will be three review packets for science and you already have your "card". Make sure you complete all the math study guide sheets. Ask for extra help in any subject where you are having difficulty.
Exam Schedule:
Friday, January 17 is a regular day except period F comes before period E--G period exam starts at 12:28.
Monday, January 20 - No School--Martin Luther King Day
Tuesday, January 21-- Period A exam, then Period B exam then the rest of the classes are about 28 minutes long, except period E which is the lunch period.
Wednesday, January 22--Period C exam, then Period D exam. Dismissal is at 11:05 a.m.
Thursday, January 23--Period E exam, then Period F exam. Dismissal is at 11:05 a.m.
Friday, January 24--Regular school day with Advisory and Directed Study. Last Day of Term 2.
Students will get their Semester 2 schedules on Friday, January 24th. Term 3 starts on January 27th
English has been working on the study guide with review of vocabulary, literary terms and characters from Of Mice and Men. Final Exam is on Thursday, January 23 at 7:20 a.m. Make sure you eat a good breakfast so you have the energy to POWER through your exams.
