October 14 to October 18

Columbus Day off, then Aquarium trip on Wednesday = short, fun week.  Remember though that the term is almost done so now is not the time to slack off.  Assignments need to be turned in on time, writing assignments need to be made up and turned in, and there should be NO EXCUSES.  Use your agenda every day to record assignments, tests/quizzes and projects.

New England Aquarium  Field Trip Wednesday

Field Trip is Wednesday, so don't forget your lunch. The buses leave school at 7:30 a.m--meet in the middle section of the Cafe for attendance, then buses will load.  Arrival back at school will be at 1:45 p.m. in time to take the bus home.

English I B:  Students continue to work on Of Mice and Men.  Chapter 2 introduces more characters and students find out more about the American Dream that drives George and Lennie, and themes of loneliness and unfulfilled dreams drive many of the other character.

Study Skills: Students are continuing to work on identifying and developing good study habits--setting a regular study routine, finding a place to work without distraction, and completing hardest subjects first.  In Study Skills, students also continue to complete assignments for their regular classes.

Homework Club is held on Tuesdays and Thursday from 2:15 until 3:00.  Late buses are available on those days as well so there is No Excuse for not staying to get EXTRA HELP from National Honor Society volunteers and Team Teachers.
