Good Morning Red Team! Can you believe that Friday is midterm for Term 1.  That means the all call will go home to have your parents check your Aspen accounts.  Make sure that all your assignments have been submitted, and any quizzes or tests have been made up.  Plan to stay after with your teachers or for Homework Club on Tuesday and Thursday this week.  Homework Club is in room 67 on Thursdays with Mr. Stanton.  Extra help is available.

English CP2:  Animal Farm continues.  Finish up Act I and start Act II. Characterization paragraph is in the rough draft stage.  Remember "Don't Float your Quotes"!  Vocabulary Chapter 3 this week. Sentence Check I and II are due on Wednesday, and flash cards should be completed by Friday.  Your test is next Tuesday.  Malapropism is the lit term of the week.

History this week is about the Russian Revolution.  Meet the characters that Snowball, Napoleon, Farmer Jones represent and see what the Battle at the Cowshed really was.  Chapters 28 (1), (2) and (3) are due next Tuesday! Don't forget to watch the Trump vs. Clinton debate--you can use it for a complete weekly current event.  There are three due this term since we are just getting started.

Biology this week will deal with cell organelles, membrane and passive/active transport.
