March 9 - March 14th

Yesterday the clocks went ahead an hour for daylight savings time.  Now the daylight continues into the evening.  Time to get out and enjoy your afternoons after school.  Spring sports are starting up. Are you involved in one of them?  Softball, baseball, track, tennis, just to name a few. 

Progress reports come out on Friday, March 13th.  Have you done your best this term. I know that it has been difficult with all the snow days, but if you have fallen behind, get back on track now while there is still time to fix those grades.

English:  To Kill A Mockingbird continues. Some classes are on chapter 12, while others are on chapter 9. Make sure you complete your chapter study guides and do your outside reading.

History: Make sure that you complete your DBQ and essay due this week.  Columbus, Hero or Villain?  Weekly assignment sheet will be distributed on Monday.  Stay on track and get your work completed and turned in on time.

Algebra: Quadratic Formula Projects have been assigned and are due this week. Make sure to follow all the criteria for the project.

Biology: Finishing up the DNA IPad project today. Don't forget to fill out the DNA study guide.

Super Pi Day: Saturday, March 14, 2015 is 3.1415! Celebrate with your favorite pie!!!!!
