March 16 - March 20, 2015: Snowed Again, but Made #1 for Snowiest Winter

It's official, Boston reached it's goal for 2015 as snowiest winter on record.  Now, Spring can come and with it now it is time for you to set goals for the remainder of the school year.  Progress reports came out on Friday and should be home by now.  Some students are right on track, and others, like the MBTA this winter have fallen off the track, and must make adjustments to get yourself back on track and into the swing of things.Term 3 ends April 10th so there is still time to pull those grades up.  Take advantage of your resources--stay with your teachers, stay for Homework Club on Tuesday and Thursday--there are late buses then.  Now is the time to do something!!!!

English: Vocabulary and To Kill A Mockingbird continue.  Started Chapter 11, and should have answered #1-3 on the study guide. That means that we are almost half way through the book.  There will be a test sometime this week on the first half of the book so make sure you have your study guide question sheets completed to help review.

Algebra I: Vertical Motion problem project presentations are almost done.  There will be a test tomorrow on this chapter.

History essays are due by Tuesday, March 17th.  Make sure you get yours turned in on time.

Biology:  Learning about Mitosis--cell division and the processes that lead up to it.

Study Skills:  Goal setting today!  What can you do to make the rest of this year more productive and successful?

In the meantime, everyone have a Happy St. Patrick's Day! It's Mrs. Fry's favorite day.
