March 3 to March 7:
Midterm has passed and Progress reports will be distributed on Friday. There is still time to make changes that will improve your grades. Remember to write your assignments in your agenda--"I forgot" should no longer be part of your vocabulary. If you complete assignments focusing on quality and completeness, rather than just doing work to get it done, you will be amazed what it will do for your grades.
English IB: Finishing up paragraphs on "favorite" item, then focusing on writing and reading poetry. Daily two minute mysteries to focus on language clues, and logical thinking. Daily Language practice also continues.
Study Skills: Check the blog for assignments in history and English. You are given a sheet each Monday so you should be able to stay on top of assignments and plan your time accordingly.
Science: Ionic Bonding continues
History: The French Revolution begins
English: Romeo and Juliet assignments and readings
Math: Weekly reviews begin on Fridays, as we continue with Quadratic Equations .
