Welcome Back from February Break!
Break is over and now it is time to get back into the routine of completing classwork, doing homework, and staying organized. Are you up to the task? Mid-term is here already!!! Progress reports go out March 7th.
English IB: Daily Language activities continue to address capitalization, punctuation, word usage, and vocabulary. Back in Time Presentations will be on Tuesday. Theme discussion with The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry. Short story unit will finish this week.
Algebra I: Students should be working on their Vertical Motion Quadratic Equation Problems which are due on Wednesday, February 26th. Presentations will begin then.
Science: Starting on Chapter 6--Time to start BONDING! Ionic bonds vs. covalent bonds Student began a worksheet on Monday from the book which is due on Wednesday. DDM on Experimental Design Tuesday in class.
English I CP2: Students are starting Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Also Vocabulary Unit 2 is due on Wednesday. Stay on top of your assignments--don't get into a hole, this term will go quickly.
History: This week we deal with the American Revolution and how that impacted the French Revolution. On Tuesday, Ms. Saba will speak to the class about Course Selection for grade 10.
Chapter 18 (2) is due on Thursday, along with this week's Current Events which is due Friday.
