First full week of school without a disruption in over a month. Time to settle down since it is mid-term and progress report time again.
In science, the Chapter 3 test is on Wednesday. Do you know the difference between Charles' Law and Boyles' Law (gas laws)? How about the States of Matter (triangle)? Can you tell difference between endothermic and exothermic? Did you turn in your Change Phase Lab with completed graph?
Algebra I: Just started with solving proportions. We will be working all week on proportions and then test on Friday. Make sure you do all your homework--showing all the work.
English I: Tuesdays with Morrie continues with student presentations for individual Tuesdays. It is time to get independent reading books--going to IMC or get your own by Monday, Dec. 10. There will be reading time in class as well as expectations for outside reading as well. No vocabulary this week
World History: Discussion and comparison of Confusionism, Legalism and Daoism continue. Paper will be due early next week--remember to use MoBaThBlu for introductory paragraph.
Keep using your agenda, and doing your homework consistently--also add paper to your binders so that you are prepared for class. Do you need to refresh your pencil and pen supply? Do so, since my supply has been depleted.
