May 22 - May 26. 2017 IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES

This week is senior exams so the first two periods of each day will be extended. There will be no K block this week. Make sure that you check Aspen, take advantage of late buses on Tuesday and Thursday, stay after and make up any missing work with your teachers.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES:

Monday, May 29th is Memorial Day - No School. Remember our veterans!

Saturday, June 3 is Graduation Day for the Class of 2017! Congratulations Seniors! The Building will be very empty next week without you.

Biology MCAS is Monday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 6. The exams are the first period each day--extended. MCAS is untimed so take your time and do your best. Make sure you fill out the review sheets that you are getting in class.  This will help you review not only for MCAS but for the finals as well.  Remember, the review sheets count as a 60 point quiz grade--easy A if you put in the time. A good way to raise your term grade, as well as prepare for the MCAS exam. MCAS reference sheets will be reviewed next week.  Use your packets to practice filling out the sheets.  On the day of the exam, you will be given a blank packet that you can write out when you get into the exam room.

Final exams are Tuesday, June 13 through Friday, June 16. There are two exams each day--one hour and a half periods. Thursday and Friday are 1/2 days--two exams, then 11:05 dismissal. The rest of the week are full days with regular classes. Schedules will be given out after the Memorial Day weekend.  Again, take the time to complete review sheets.

Last Day of School is Friday, June 16 unless you have to make up an exam.  All make up exams must be approved by Mr. Fornaciari.  The last day in the building is JUNE 19th.

This is the time for wrapping up another school year.  Take care of business, check Aspen, do you work each day.  Make sure you are not in a hole academically going into the final exams.  Remember, all with the mid-term, the final exam counts 20% of your yearly average.  Grades and credits are what count.
