February 22 - February 26, 2016

Welcome Back from February Vacation! Hope that you had a relaxing, restful, fun week, even if you did have a "Take Home" Test for Biology to keep you company.  Remember to bring it to school Tuesday--no excuses.

English:  SRI on Tuesday for B2, then Romeo and Juliet continues.  Romeo is off to Mantua, what will Juliet do?  Will she marry the Count Paris?  What will Friar Laurence do to help her?  Stay tuned. Nightly homework is to keep reading.

Biology: Take Home Test on DNA is due Tuesday along with the completed study guide; then we start learning about Cell Division.  New word wall, and the Cell Cycle starts off our week.

World History: Chapter 16 (2) is due Wed. 2/24; and the new assigned Chapter 17 (1) and (2) are due next Wednesday, 3/2.  DBQ on Friday--Columbus, A Hero or a Villain?  You decide, and then use the documents to provide evidence.

Algebra: Quadratics continues--graphing and solving using the formula.  Packets from before vacation are due next class.  Don't forget to bring them to class!

Homework Club continues to meet in room 67 on Thursdays with Mr. Stanton, and after-school help is available in room 241 with Mrs. Baker on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Take advantage of the help available so that you achieve your best grades yet!

Spring sports will be starting soon, so make sure that you are eligible.  Don't get behind--do your best!

After a wonderful springlike weekend in February, it won't be long before Spring is actually here!  Get ready.

NOTE:  No School next Tuesday, March 1st due to the Massachusetts Primary.
