It seems that the days are just flying by now! Spring sports sign up is Thursday, and guess what that means that better weather has to come soon. Can't play baseball in the snow.
English--To Kill A Mockingbird continues. Make sure you stay up on your reading and study guides. New vocab words this week with a quiz on Friday.
History--Columbian Exchange between Old World and New World. Can you name the continents that make up Old World---EAA and New World---NSA. This is a catch up week for assignments, but make sure that you are caught up--not avoiding. Homework averages have been down, and progress reports are coming up soon.
Biology--What happens during translation? Quiz Friday so be able to identify a codon, anticodon, ribosome, amino acid, mRNA, tRNA on a diagram. Also know how to transcript DNA into mRNA codons, then write tRNA anti-codons.
Algebra I: Working with the quadratic formula this week. Also don't forget your Connect Ed--stop throwing valuable points away.. There is an extra credit problem if you didn't do well on the Quiz. Memorize the quadratic formula! You will need to write it on all your papers from now until April vacation.
