English IB: Poetry project has been completed, and our new unit starts this week--Romeo and Juliet. Starting with some background knowledge about Shakespeare and the Globe Theatre, then literary terms vocabulary later this week. Breaking down Shakespearean language and putting the play into current day English will help us understand the goings on. Two Minute Mysteries continue to help develop comprehension and critical thinking skills.
Study Skills: Last week of the term--more consistent effort will be needed for term 4 since too many students are throwing away points. Agendas need to be completed, all assignments completed, and more consistent effort to do all that is expected.
