April 1--April 5, 2013

Last week of term 3. Time to really concentrate and get work done.  Make an effort to do all the work required, and submit before it is too late.  There is still time to pull up your grades with a strong finish.

Science--learning about the special properties of water. Do you know the difference between cohesion and adhesion? What are hydrogen bonds?  What is surface tension and how does capillary action work.  Could you use a plant to explain all of these terms?

Math: Polynomials are the subject this week. Practice FOIL to multiply two binomials.  It is easy once you practice.  First, Outer, Inner, Last--remember to draw your rainbow arrows.

History: Finishing up Prehistory, and learning about Judaism and Christianity.  Remember that both religions have many similarities--monotheistic, founded by Abraham, have first five books of the bible in common (Torah for Judaism, and Old Testament for Christianity).

English: Finishing up Romeo and Juliet, and getting ready to start To Kill A Mockingbird.

Have a great week, and finish term 3 strong!
