After a beautiful weekend for Mother's Day, it is time for more PARCC and MCAS testing this week. Freshmen and Juniors will take PARCC ELA on Monday and Thursday, and Sophomores have MCAS Math on Tuesday and Thursday. Just do your best--good attitude, good effort, and good motivation. A positive attitude goes a long way.
English: "Riding the Rails" letter home will be due when you have class. Of Mice and Men will begin this week now that you have background information about the Great Depression, Migrant Workers and how people moved from place to place trying to get work.
History: Discussion begins on the Industrial Revolution. You should have completed and passed in Chapter 19 (1) and (2) from last week, and you will continue with 19 (3) and (4) this week.
Algebra I: Rationals continue, then we move on. Time is getting close for the end of the year. Connect Ed is due by Tuesday morning. Do it tonight!
Biology: Evolution puzzle project begins. Make sure you bring in your three pictures to add to the group collage.
Since I won't see you as much this week due to the testing, remember to work hard and do your best! I will see you during the afternoons.
