October 27 to October 31, 2014

View of the Parliament Building at night from my Hotel in Budapest, Hungary!

I am back from leave and Friday is the end of term one!  Term two starts next Monday and the roller coaster of days off begins.  There is not one complete five day week for the month of November--No school on Nov.4 and Nov. 11; and half days on Nov. 19 and 26.  Thanksgiving break starts on Nov. 26th.  Make sure to stay on top of your work, it is so easy to get behind.  REPORT CARDS will be distributed November 7th.
English continues reading A Separate Peace and answering study guide questions. Weekly vocabulary packets are distributed on Monday, and are to be completed throughout the week with a quiz on Friday.

Algebra I continues with inequalities. Quiz today! Don't forget to do the weekly ConnectEd and make sure that you upload and send to sclifford@plymouth.k12.ma.us. Too many assignments are not getting to Mr. Clifford.

History finishes up World War II and will complete a DBQ essay on Monday and Tuesday.  Make sure that all your work is completed and turned in for credit.  At least 5 weekly current event sheets should have been turned in.

In Biology students have been learning about active and passive transport through the cell membrane.  They have made a paper model that shows both types of transport. If you have missed any assessments, now is the time to make them up before the term ends and they are counted as a zero.

Check you Aspen account regularly, stay on top of daily assignments and do your best!!!!!
