June 2 to June 6

After a crazy short week with Senior exams and class day, it is time to settle back down to business and get work done.  Biology MCAS will keep me busy on Monday and Tuesday mornings, but I will still be in touch with teachers.

English IB will finish up work on To Kill A Mockingbird this week, answering questions from the book/movie with a test at the end of the week.

English I has started working on the June revision of the This I Believe essay.  Be sure to follow the timeline on Mrs. Weston's blog and complete each part for points.  Make sure that any missing work has been turned in--English is a required course for graduation.

Algebra I pay close attention to the concepts that are being reviewed in class--will be on final exam!

History: Groups are recreating the Weimar Republic elections of 1932 that allowed Nazis to come to power in Germany and remain until their defeat in World War II.  Assignments are due on Wednesday (29-1) and Friday (29-2), along with current events.

Science:  Biology continues with Chapter 7 Cells. Notes were given today, with Homework worksheet due on Wednesday. If you need a book, go to http://jpotterscience.blogspot.com/  for online book information to complete 7.1 worksheet.

Study Skills:  Make sure you are completing your assignments, following rubrics and criteria sheets, and making up any missing work.  Only two weeks before exams.  The end is in sight--don't lose sight of the prize--moving on to sophomore year.

Have a good week, extra help is available all week.
