First Week of School

Welcome Freshman!  The first day of school is over, and I am excited to be your teacher.  This will be an exciting and creative, but challenging year.  Make sure you get off to a good start in all your classes.

English period E:  Welcome to my Windowless World project was assigned today and is due on Wednesday, September 11th.  Bring your materials in before Tuesday, September 10th, and we will work on the project in class.  Class Expectations are to be gone over with parents, signed and returned by Monday, September 9th.

Study Skills G: The class is off to a good start, settling in and getting down to work. Agendas are checked daily, and students are expected to work without distracting themselves or others. Letters to parents, as well as the class expectations letters with Study Skills Description and Requirements will be going home on Thursday. Signature pages are to be returned by Wednesday, September 11th. A 2 inch binder with dividers is needed for the study skills curriculum and academic work by Monday, September 9th if possible.

Materials for all academic classes should be purchased as soon as possible--already bags are starting to look like "small black holes" and since it is important to keep materials organized, the sooner the better for binders.

Class expectation letters for all academic classes need to be signed and returned, as well as "First Day" envelopes.

Enjoy the rest of the week, and follow the 4 A's for Success--attitude, attendance, attention, and achievement.
