Memorable MAY!

That's right, Memorial Day is this coming weekend.  It is a time of reflection and a time for remembering those who have served their country, or lost their lives for our country.  Take time to remember our servicemen, past and present. Think of all they do to protect us daily. Try to attend a Memorial Day parade somewhere.

English: To Kill A Mockingbird continues--theme journal page due Friday.  Make sure you are up to date on assignments and reading. Vocabulary definitions and sentences this week too.  Check Mrs. Weston's weekly assignment sheet from her blog.

In science, carbs are a thing of the past, and we are on to Lipids--fats, yuck, but which ones are good for you. Check your snack bags and make good choices. Remember to bring in a label from a snack bag on Wednesday for our project. Save your four square study guides--Carbohydrates and Lipids, you can use on the test.

Math--solving and graphing inequalities and compound inequalities.  Simplifying square roots.  Problem solving on the 1/2 Day.

History--finishing up Life of Leonardo da Vinci with notes on the Northern Italian Renaissance.  Timelines are due as are your weekly assignments. Don't slack off now.

Friday the schedule will change for the next week due to the Senior ExamsFriday, periods A and B are each an hour and a half long.  Bring a snack since lunch will be really late for the next week--not until 12:45 each day.
